We now have a selection of quality rebuilt grand pianos available for concert hire. Rebuilt to the highest standards, these pianos include the latest design improvements. All hire pianos are frequently regulated and voiced to maintain the touch and tone to standards demanded by leading pianists. We take great pride in the appearance of our instruments on stage; casework is kept 'as new'.

This Steinway concert piano has been hired for

The rebuilt Steinway concert grand hire piano

This piano was rebuilt in 1996 incorporating:

  • A new hard maple pin block, hand fitted to the iron plate
  • Reshaped and hardened capo' and front duplex bars
  • Custom agraffes
  • Overs specification hammers by Imadegawa
  • New treble bridge sections - to Overs' scale design
  • Adjustable and tuned rear duplex blocks
  • A revised hammer strike 'line'
  • A revised bass string scale

The capo'/duplex treatment and the tuned rear duplexes enable this piano to produce a particularly clean and clear treble register. When the pianist for Michael Crawford played this piano at Sydney Casino's Star City, he asked whether any others like it were available for hire in the States.

Originally from the Sydney Town Hall, this piano was rebuilt in 1996 incorporating:

  • A modified and tapered soundboard
  • Reshaped and hardened capo' and front duplex bars
  • Imadagawa hammers, manufactured to Overs' specification
  • A revised hammer strike line
  • A revised bass string scale
    • This Kawai has a full bass and a powerful 'clean' treble; with a tonal character usually found in a much larger piano.
     

    All hire packages include tuning, cartage and insurance.
