He holds degrees in languages and music, and has been a staff member at Sydney Conservatorium, the Universities of Western Australia and Tasmania, and is currently Senior Lecturer and Co-ordinator of Keyboard at Monash University in Melbourne.
David Bollard is well known to Musica Viva audiences from his many years with the Australia Ensemble. His career has included appearances in over thirty countries as soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. He has collaberated with distinguished artists such as Alfredo Campoli, André Tchaikovsky, Jane Manning, Rotraud Hansmann and Wanda Wilkomirska, and recorded for Festival Records, the ABC, Vox Australis and Tall Poppies.
